BIOGRAPHY | Teresa is a creative and professional international retailer with over 30 years experience gained in multiple retailing, department store operations and brand licensing. Teresa is also passionate about her determination to help make a difference to people in need and has been actively involved in a number of charities in the UK and Europe. In Kind Direct was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1996 and is one of The Prince’s Charities. In Kind Direct redistributes surplus goods from manufacturers and retailers to UK Charities working at home and abroad.

Since foundation in 1996, £130m in value of goods donated from over 850 companies has been redistributed to over 5,500 voluntary and community organisations helping millions of people in need. “In Kind Direct helps thousands of charities and the millions of people they serve, touching and improving lives in those communities that most need assistance” says Teresa. “As well as this, there is a direct benefit to the environment by diverting goods that might otherwise go to landfill or external recycling”.
