BIOGRAPHY | Marlo is passionate about empowering people with multiple sclerosis to live a full life. Her dedication to the cause began at age 32 when she was diagnosed with the disease. Marlo spreads awareness about MS through several channels, including her music via MySpace, her TeslagirlM channel on YouTube.com, and a book she authored in 2009 titled, Awkward Bitch: My Life with MS. Marlo’s book has since appeared on four best seller lists on Amazon.co.uk, including Top 100 biographies. She is committed to helping raise funds for the UK MS Society, one of the first organizations she turned to for help through her diagnosis. "When I was diagnosed in 2004, the UK MS Society's website was the first site where I found the accurate information and support I desperately needed,” she says. "They continue to be a source of support and encouragement for me, and others affected by multiple sclerosis.”
