BIOGRAPHY | Kerry’s passion lies in protecting the arts and women’s rights. She is a member of the Artists Committee for Americans For The Arts, the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. In 2009, Kerry was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. "I believe in the inherit value of the arts and the humanities and in protecting the vital role that culture plays in society,” she says. Kerry also is a member of the V-Counsel, a group of advisors to V-Day: the global movement to end violence against women and girls.
