BIOGRAPHY | Francine is committed to empowering women and eradicating poverty. Francine is the founder and president of SAME SKY, a trade-not-aid initiative, which helps HIV-positive female survivors of the 1994 Rwanda genocide rebuild their lives and communities. Francine is the recipient of numerous awards, including The Women’s Leadership Exchange’s The Compass Award, the USO’s Woman of the Year Award, and the National Ethnic Coalition of Organization’s Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
