I’ve admired Deborah Turbeville’s photography for as long as I can remember. She captures the sensuality and sophistication of a woman as only another woman can. Her style is so distinctive, so original. Soft and lyrical, yet with such a strong, unforgettable presence. The spirit of the feminine portrayed with confidence and grace. You just look at a piece and immediately know it's hers. Deborah is an icon -- the first woman of fashion photography. Yet there’s nothing of the moment about her work. You always notice the woman first, whatever she’s wearing. The timelessness of Deborah’s photos blurs the line between commercial and fine art. Poetic and powerful, Deborah’s images speaks to you emotionally. It’s all woman. We are thrilled to exhibit Deborah Turbeville’s photography at our London store, debuting on Fashion’s Night Out, Sept 8th.
