BIOGRAPHY | Vivian believes that every child deserves an education. In 2009 she founded the Vivian Wu & Friends Charity Foundation, which is dedicated to raising money for scholarships for students in China whose high school education has been stopped or impaired by family crisis or financial hardship. "An intelligent, educated society will not make the mistakes of the past and will most certainly lead our children and our children’s children to a peaceful and ecologically sound existence,” Vivian says. She also was selected as a spokeswoman for MAC Cosmetics’ AIDS Fund and served as the Chinese spokesperson on behalf of the Breast Cancer Pink-Ribbon Foundation.
