BIOGRAPHY | Joanna is keen to shed light on sex trafficking. As a Goodwill Ambassador for the organization Maiti Nepal, she has spoken out on behalf of the innocent victims forced into the sex trade and highlights the work it does to rehabilitate and provide a future for young girls. "Maiti Nepal gathers in the young girls who have been abducted and used as sex workers and gives them training in skilled work, safety, a loving family and above all the chance of a new life.” Joanna says. Joanna also fights for the rights of the Gurkhas, an oppressed people of Nepalese and Indian origin, as well as orphans and children.
