KAROLINA KURKOVA

HUMANITARIAN. MOTHER. JETSETTER. MODEL.

“Women have such a big heart and we care so much, and I really try to help as much as I can when it comes to supporting women, education, children, giving other women a voice, freedom and power.”
– Karolina Kurkova

Karolina Kurkova, one of the three women featured in the Donna Karan Woman fragrance campaign, has been referred to as one of the last true supermodels. At 16, she was the youngest model to grace the cover of American Vogue, and was also the youngest ever to win Model of the Year. Born in the Czech Republic, Karolina was named one of the world’s “50 Most Beautiful People,” twice by People Magazine. Currently, Karolina is set to be a “contestant coach” on “The Face,” the upcoming Oxygen reality series. Yet Karolina’s outer beauty is well matched by her inner beauty, and she is among the first to use her profile and platform to support causes she cares about deeply. “Women have such a big heart and we care so much, and I really try to help as much as I can when it comes to supporting women, education, children, giving other women a voice, freedom and power,” says Karolina, who is also a mother. A longtime advocate for the welfare of women and children, Karolina received an award from the non-profit “Women Together,” and has been involved with AmFar, New Yorker for Children and Global Youth Action Network. She is a passionate supporter of the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, as well as the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization dedicated to honoring, empowering and assisting wounded warriors and their families.
