IMAN

CHARITY | Raise Hope for Congo

BIOGRAPHY | Iman knows firsthand the life-and-death struggles that the people of Africa face on a daily basis. As an advocate and avid supporter of RAISE Hope for Congo, a campaign run by the Enough Project, Iman is dedicated to spreading awareness on the conflict mineral crisis, widespread sexual violence against women and girls, and the solutions necessary to end the catastrophe in eastern Congo. "What sustains the continent of Africa really starts with women, but in the Congo that social fabric is being destroyed by the worst sexual violence in the world,” she says. "RAISE Hope for Congo works to protect and empower women and girls in the Congo by advocating for permanent solutions to the conflict there." Iman’s other charitable work includes The Children’s Defense Fund, Keep a Child Alive and Action Against Hunger.
